Kirin Dreyar vs Kyoshiro Mebu

Kirin Dreya had signed up to a tournament. He though it would be good experience, also a nice way to pass time plus earn some money. He signed himself up. It seemed that there weren't many participants this year. It made the young boy little sad but oh well, it was easier to win the whole thing now. After the sign-ups had been closed he was notified that young boy had to fight with someone called Kyoshiro Mebu in his first round. He was getting little exited and was directed to the fighting arena. It was a flat one with some stone tiles. It seemed to be around 20 square meters large. Kirin liked that kind of battle field, it was going to be a straight fight without any tricks. Young boy calmly walked to the arena. He couldn't wait to see what kind of monster his opponent was and calmly waited for his arrival.

Kyoshiro walked onto the platform, looking around the small arena. He was a little ticked that his brothers had signed him up for this, but they needed more money and so he would win for them. He looked at his young opponent and then nodded. He never underestimated his opponents. He looked at the pillars in the four corners and then back at his opponent. They matched him up against a kid. But from what he saw most of them were kids. "Hmph," said Kyoshiro as he hoped that this kid would be a fun match.

Kyoshiro walked up to the kid and stopped eight feet from him. "Good luck," was all Kyoshiro said with his expressionless face. He bowed in a greeting of two fighters about to clash and said, "I am Kyoshiro Mebu. Brother of Seosha and Reoma Mebu." Kyoshiro then took his stance. His fists were up like a boxer with his elbows out, but his fists were pointed at the boy. One foot was two feet behind the other and one foot to the side, making himself a thinner target and also giving him a good stance to make his kicks harder. "Shall we begin?"

Kirin smirked a little and said with little evil voice, "Like I care who you are... I don't want to hear losers name, but I am Kirin Dreyar." That is all young boy said now as the match was about to begin. He was rather amused being put against so much larger man but it seemed like Lion Tournament people treated everyone equal. The way Kyoshiro went into stance Kirin assumed that he was good in close combat, maybe even some magic which would increase his physical abilities. Kirin didn't have any fancy stances but who cares, he had his magic. "Lets begin then." said young boy with a smile on his face. Without any warning Kirin jumped back to get distance from Kyoshiro. He then revealed his fist when suddenly it started surging with lightning. The energy kept on growing and growing when suddenly a bolt of lightning was discharged towards Kyoshiro's mid section. Young boy had used his most basic Lightning type spell called Lightning Bolt. Kirin wanted to see the basic abilities of the man so he started out weak. The bolt would be strong enough to knock out a normal human but who knows, maybe one standing before him wasn't normal.

Kyoshiro looked at the boy as he spoke. It was clear to Kyoshiro that Kirin underestimated his opponents. That would be his downfall. Kyoshiro watched as Kirin jump back. He is clearly putting distance. Smart boy. But this means he has a long range attack. thought Kyoshiro. He watched the fist and the electricity crackle around the fist. Right as the fist pointed and Kyoshiro interpreted the path, which was easy from his years of fighting with his brothers, he sidestepped a foot, still holding his stance which made it easier to dodge because he had made himself a skinnier target.

Interesting.. A lightning mage. First I've seen. And his power seems to be stronger than a normal one. Maybe he is a lightning mage prodigy. Or maybe he is something stronger. thought Kyoshiro as he took a few steps forward while also slightly moving to the side. He kept his full body in view and would focus on any abnormalities to the body, which would signal where the next attack would come from. Kyoshiro would have prefered to have his weapon and armor, but luckily he was skilled in Muy Thai. A deadly hand to hand combat that is just as dangerous as any weapon.
