The Lost Brothers

Luna and Reoma were surrounced with a tight ring of over 60 Slitherguards.

The crossbowmen were preparing the next volley.

Sal: "Cheh. They'll have to take care of that mess themselves."

Sal sneaks away with the unconcious brothers.

Slitherguard Captain lowers his weapon, but says nothing.

"No. you get out. I think I found my own way out. Just hit them from above and I'll be able to get out. Trust me," said Reoma as he swung his lance in an arc to keep them back.

"I can't fly anymore, I'm to tired. But I can fight." says Lunar dropping down and swinging her sword in front of her at the snakes stomachs

Slitherguard Captain: "Kill them."

The Slitherguards tighten their shield wall around Luna and Reoma and swing down their swords. There's little room to dodge. Three of them get cut by Reoma's lance and one gets cut by Luna's sword, but there still seems to be tenfolds of them left.

Crossbowmen fire their volley.

Reoma spotted the opening and ducked down then swiped his spear at their lower exposed bodies in an attempt to slice them in two.

Lunar starts sending fireballs flying over there heads trying to get over the shields or have them raise there shields and expose there stomachs

Slitherguard Captain: "Shield wall, lower stance!"

Slitherguards slightly lower their stances to avoid Luna's high thrown fireballs and get a better shield coverage against Reoma's attacks.

"Shoot above them, then use their shields raised form and jump on them then over them," whispered Reoma as he sliced around them again.

"I can't fly, but I can try this." says Luna charging a gaint fireball. Then she throws it into the air and holds it there. From the fireball starts shooting smaller fireballs forming a fire rain down on the snakes.

Slitherguards raised their shields above them to repel the fire rain, and one of them parried Reoma's lance while another one attepted to hook it with his bill-like blade. The circle continued to tighten, there was barely any room left to move around.

Reoma's lannce was caught and he cursed as he had to let it go. "Now!" yelled Reoma as he jumpedd onto their shields and ran across a few before jumping over the rest and landing on the ground, running toward the woods.

Lunar follows his lead but much faster. She races on into the woods. Starlight was flying above them with Reoma's brothers weapons.

Slitherguards break up the shield wall and start to chase after Reoma and Luna.

Slitherguard Captain: "Units, halt! Return to your posts. They'll be back."

Slitherguards stop the chase and retreat back into the ruins.

Slitherguard Captain brings up a large sword, unsheathes it and turns it against the setting sun, creating a light reflex on it.

Slitherguard Captain: "They'll be back."
