Museum Theif

"It's sad you can't see the stars. Or the moon. says Moon feeling sorry for Kazuki. She picks up her bread and finishes eating it, then follows it with another sip of water.

"Being able to have a perfect spherical view of my surroundings and sensing people, it comes at a very steep price. Though it comes in handy alot of times," said Kazuki as he looked at her and smiled.

"If I had a choice, I would pick being able to see the stars and moon." says Moon looking at Kazuki again

"I would do that, but I think there is a reason why I was gifted with the Aura Sight," said Kazuki as he finished his water and layed back on her bed.

"Maybe there was a reason I was given my black magic to." says Moon. She hesitantly lays down beside Kazuki.

"I think we should rest now," said Kazuki. He hesitated, then pulled the covers over them and wrapped an arm over her.

Moon just nodded and closed her eyes. Soon she was fast asleep. This time without the nightmare.

Kazuki fell asleep while holding her. He channeled calm energy over them, attempting to make sure she had not a single nightmare.

When the sunlight streamed through the window the next morning, it woke Moon up. 'Morning? I slept without a nightmare all night! Thats a first, thanks to Kazuki.' thinks Moon. Kazuki's arms were still around her so she decided not to move and wake him up. She found she actually liked laying there in his arms. Moon closes her eyes again and waits for Kazuki to wakeup.

Kazuki awoke a few minutes after Moon. He moved his arms from her and stretched, yawning slightly. Kazuki blinked a few times and then sat up. He looked around then down at Moon. He smiled at her and asked, "How'd you sleep?"

"Better than I have in a long time. I could get used to sleeping without nightmares of my past." says Moon sitting up. "Were you uncomfortable? You were holding me all night." asks Moon looking at him

Kazuki blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "I was.. fine.. heh. Umm.. Sorry about that," said Kazuki as he then looked out the window to try and cool down. This was the first time he really actually talked to a girl. The only people that normally talked to him was his parents and the other fishermen where he was from.

"Why are you apologising? I wasn't complaining, I enjoyed being held." says Moon glad he had his back to her so he couldn't see her blush

Kazuki was getting a little nervous and so he decided to change the subject. "So what shall we do today? Go and find a job? Or go to the next time? I overheard some people last night talking about a museum theif here in this town. I do not really like theives so I was thinking maybe we could do it. My Aura Sight would come in handy. As would your harpie and your arrow. And I'm pretty sure... it... can help us as well. It has alot of battle experience so it should be able to formulate a good enough strategy," said Kazuki as he looked at Death's Hand. He would not respect something that took the lives of others without true reason. Or something that would harm his friends. So he called Death's Hand, It.

"Sure, I got nothing better to do." says Moon standing up. She picks up her stuff from were she left it last night.

Kazuki started to unwrap his bandages. His wound had stopped bleeding, but it looked as if it would start becoming infected soon, atleast to Kazuki's eyes. It would look normal to other eyes, but Kazuki could see a dark path around the two long, deep cut marks.

Moon got the bandages and a soaked a rag. She gently started cleaning the wound with the rag trying not to hurt him.

Kazuki grimaced as his wound was clean. The skin between the claw marks was loose, but it was looking like it was healing up a bit. He knew he'd have to see an experienced healer for it, but he would have to do till they reached Biso. "Thanks," said Kazuki as he looked down at the wound.

"I'll do what I can. Here eat this. It will help you heal." says Moon pulling out a dried flower. It's blossom was pale white. (Moon Blossom very rare). Moon hands it to him then starts binding the wound.

Kazuki looked at the flower and nodded. He began chewing it, not liking the taste, but ate it all as she dressed is wound. "My attacks haven't been very useful. I need to learn some more magic if I'm going to be of any true use..." said Kazuki in a low tone, mainly to himself.

"There powerful enough to have saved me from being caught by that monster." says Moon finishing bandaging Kazuki's arm.

"Yeah. A Monster. But I doubt other mages," said Kazuki. He then remembered something and got up, walking over to his jacket. He slid it on and attached the sleeves then pulled the pedant out of his pocket that he got from the keep. "I still don't know what this does."

"Me either. I got stuck with a mana draining ghost." says Moon jerking her thumb at Death's Hand.

"Atleast she can do something. I have no idea what this thing does," said Kazuki as he held it up to the light. "It looks like what the captain had been wearing. Something about how my magic would be useless, though somehow I still hit him. I guess it's just a piece of junk."

"I don't know. Should we get moving?" asks Moon heading for the door.
